Evian | FFF Fine Foods
Back in 1789, a French nobleman called the Marquis de Lessert got thirsty while walking near Évian-les-Bains and drank from a spring. He found the water so light and easy to drink that he kept coming back . That spring became the Cachat Spring, and by 1826 the first bottling facility was built on the site . Today, evian is owned by Danone and sold in more than 140 countries . The name itself comes from the Celtic word "evua," which simply means water . Two hundred thirty years later, it's still the same water from the same place—filtered by nature, bottled at the source, and shipped around the world .
