Epiros started in 1994 in Ammotopos, a village in the region of Epirus in north-west Greece . They built a state-of-the-art facility right where the milk is produced, processing over 25,000 tonnes of sheep and goat milk every year from local farms . Over the years, they've invested more than $40 million in getting things right—milk collection, production, packaging . And it's paid off. Their cheeses have picked up over 40 awards in international competitions, making them the most awarded feta in the world . From the Mediterranean Taste Awards to the DLG, judges keep giving them gold . Now they're in Australia too, bringing that award-winning taste to our tables.
