Manna Rusks & Biscuits | Dakos, Barley, Olive Oil Crispbread | FFF Fine Foods
Back in a small village in Chania, a man named Charitos Tsatsaronakis started making rusks the way his family always had.
He called them "The Manna"—a name that stuck. By 1960, his son Nikos was carrying them to market in paper bags, and before long, they became the first packaged rusk in Greece .
The family still runs things today, third generation now, using the same recipes and a big rotary oven that bakes them right. Australians discovered them in 2002 and haven't stopped since
